WGM IMPACT: Embracing the Future

Transformed individuals transforming communities transforming the world

How We Work

World Gospel Mission has implemented the following initatives as part of our ministry philosophy. By faith, we are trusting God to guide us as we form goals and plans for the future.

Internationalization

WGM is working to significantly increase the number of international missionary staff, headquarters personnel, Board of Directors members, and field leaders. This is key to maintaining sustainable ministries and multiplying efforts to share the gospel. We look forward to the joys and challenges of working as an internationally led organization.

Champion Migration Strategy

As a faith-based organization, WGM relies on faithful supporters, or champions, who understand and are passionate about the cause of worldwide missions. In relating to supporters, WGM adopted a strategy of transformational discipleship called Champion Migration Strategy (CMS). By engaging with a supporter on a deeper level that goes far beyond a financial transaction, both the supporter and WGM are enriched by the relationship. CMS continues to impact how we recruit, communicate, and train.

Internationalization

Ministries that reach out to the whole person—physically and spiritually—have long been a feature of WGM’s work. Now, we seek to integrate the concept of whole-person transformation into the heart and soul of all locations, using a wholistic approach to ministry to affect community transformation. Working with local churches and local community leaders, we will help to facilitate community outreach. WGM is in the process of training all missionaries in these principles.

About WGM's IMPACT 2017 Conference

The WGM IMPACT conference is a bi-annual event hosted by WGM, generally in Marion Indiana.

Our goal?  To advance the mission of Christ by hearing from God, connecting with each other, and learning new and better ways to minister with greater effectiveness.

We begin with registration on the afternoon of Sunday, June 4 at Huntingdon University, then move to Indiana Wesleyan University on Wednesday, June 7.

The conference closes at 2 pm on Friday, June 16.
